Mountain gorillas · Musanze

Volcanoes National Park

Home to the mountain gorillas made famous by Dian Fossey, plus golden monkeys and volcano hikes. The gorilla permit is Rwanda's flagship experience; daily permit capacity was raised to 112 in 2024 across 12 habituated families.
